| Khan's Classy Ladies (KCL)
adult web site has been operating on the Web since October of 1996, and
we've seen many changes since our founding. As you may know,
"time" on the Web moves very fast and the "rules" are often learned as
we go. There are, however, some things which warrant our attention
as webmasters who seek to maintain a reputation of providing quality sites
and be accepted as a legitimate part of the adult entertainment industry.
Legal content is a major item which deserves all our attention.
Khan's Classy Ladies, as a proud member site, is working with the YNOT Adult Network and the Association for the Protection of Internet Copyrights (APIC) to help see that content providers are not taken advantage of and that those we link with share our goals for legitimacy in the adult entertainment industry. To this end, beginning April 1, 1998 we will re-vamp our Links List so that all link exchanges are with sites which provide fully legal content (this includes pictures, videos, stories, etc.). Where possible, sites will be notified before their link is removed and offered the chance to show they use only licensed content. Our goal is by May 1, 1998, all sites listed (linked to) will be using only 100% legit content. Sites will be checked and those which are obviously using bootleg content will be purged. Where the content appears questionable, we will forward an email to the Webmaster requesting more information before we can continue the link exchange. Sites which display a statement demonstrating that they have purchased/obtained rights or created original content to use on their pages will remain on our Links List. To be considered, such a statement must be fully accessible for viewing by all surfers (pay sites, please note). Please be aware that "public domain" pictures are not legal, even though many folks seem to believe they are. In the spirit of fairness, if a site is reported to us as having unlicensed content, their link will be removed pending their settlement with the reporting party. Effective immediately, All new requests for links will require a confirmation that the requested link is with a site that only uses licensed content The adult Web has come a long way in a short time toward gaining the reputation of a fully legitimate part of the adult entertainment industry. If webmasters continue to operate outside the common held boundaries of legitimate use of intellectual property of others, there's little chance of being taken serious as a legitimate business. We urge all webmasters to consider adopting a similar policy. If all serious Webmasters who believe in honesty and integrity continue to take these important steps, I have no doubt we'll achieve our goals. We hope you feel the same! Khan
